Dr. Thomas W. Schoborg
A graduate of the Emory University Medical School, Dr. Schoborg joined the Atlanta Urological Group in 1979 after training at the University Hospital of Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Schoborg's primary concentration is the management of complex kidney stones. He is one of the few urologist in the southeast with experience at removing large, complex kidney stones through Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCN) and treats patients from all over the southeastern United States, as well as the Caribbean. He has trained several physicians throughout the area in performing this technique and has helped establish endoscopic urological centers in Jamaica and Russia. Dr. Schoborg also specializes in treating malignancies of the genitourinary system. Many urologists in the state of Georgia have referred to him for difficult cases.
Dr. Schoborg is certified by the American Board of Urology and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Urology at the Medical College of Georgia.
